Building the Foundations of Healthy Communities

Good health begins with clean water, proper nutrition, and basic hygiene. This programme tackles the root causes of preventable disease by improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities while promoting good hygiene and nutritional practices. An integrated approach ensures lasting community well-being.

Programme Objectives:

  • To improve access to clean water and adequate sanitation facilities in vulnerable communities.

  • To promote good hygiene practices that reduce the spread of preventable diseases.

  • To tackle malnutrition through nutrition education and food security initiatives.

  • To integrate health, water, and food security interventions for holistic impact.

Completed Projects:

  • USAID Community Connector (2014–2016)
    Partner: FHI360 through USAID
    Delivered integrated Nutrition, WASH, and agriculture activities, including school nutrition learning clubs, food security demonstration sites, and family life schools.
