Integrated Livelihoods & Recovery in Uganda - Noble Youth Foundation

Some communities face crises that demand a comprehensive response. This programme supports the most vulnerable families—war survivors, those in extreme poverty—with an integrated package of interventions. From income-generating activities and seed funds to nutrition, WASH, and agriculture, we restore both dignity and economic stability.

Programme Objectives:

  • To provide holistic, integrated support for communities recovering from conflict and crisis.

  • To improve food security, nutrition, and hygiene practices at the household level.

  • To build resilient livelihoods through a combination of financial resources, training, and material support.

  • To restore hope and self-reliance in the most vulnerable populations.

Completed Projects:

  • War Survivors Support (2015–2018)
    Donor: MacArthur Foundation through Uganda Fund
    Provided income-generating activities, seed funds, and improved goat distribution to war-affected communities in Lira, Otuke, and Kole districts.

  • USAID Community Connector (2014–2016)
    Partner: FHI360 through USAID
    Delivered integrated Nutrition, WASH, and agriculture activities, including school nutrition learning clubs, food security demonstration sites, and family life schools.
