Project Description:
NOYU implemented this targeted HIV project working with out-of-school youth and most-at-risk persons in Lira District. NOYU’s team led community dialogues to reduce stigma, ran sensitisation campaigns to raise awareness, and coordinated community-based HIV testing. Through NOYU’s outreach, vulnerable populations learned their status and were linked to treatment and support services.

Noble Youth Foundation (NOYU) The lead implementing organisation, conducting community dialogues, HIV testing outreach, and sensitisation campaigns in Lira District.
The Global Fund An international financing and partnership organisation that invests in programmes to end HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. It provided funding for this project through its local implementing partners.
TASO-KADO The AIDS Support Organisation (TASO) in partnership with Kole, Apac, Dokolo, and Oyam (KADO) districts. TASO is a pioneering Ugandan NGO that provided technical support and treatment linkage for clients identified by NOYU.
