Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Uganda - Noble Youth Foundation - NOYU

Empowering Young People to Make Informed Decisions

Status: Ongoing | Focus Area: Health and Well-being

A young person who cannot control their reproductive health cannot fully control their future. This programme combines vital SRHR education with economic empowerment, creating a holistic shield against teenage pregnancy, early marriage, and exploitation. We create safe, non-judgemental spaces where young people can learn, ask questions, and access services.

Programme Objectives:

  • To improve comprehensive knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights among adolescents and youth.

  • To reduce the incidence of teenage pregnancy, child marriage, and sexually transmitted infections.

  • To integrate health education with economic empowerment for lasting impact.

  • To promote gender equality and transformation at the community level.

  • I DECIDE Project (2022–2025)
