Integrated Nutrition, WASH, and Agriculture

Project Description:
NOYU implemented this integrated project, tackling health and livelihoods together by recognising their deep interconnection. NOYU formed school nutrition learning clubs, established food security demonstration sites, and ran family life schools across Lira.

Through NOYU’s holistic approach, communities received combined nutrition education, water and sanitation improvements, and agricultural training, building resilience that lasted well beyond the project’s end.

Noble Youth Foundation (NOYU) The lead implementing organisation, forming school clubs, establishing demonstration sites, and running family life schools across the project area.
FHI360 A global human development organisation that advances integrated, locally driven solutions. It served as the key implementing partner for USAID and provided technical guidance to NOYU.
USAID (United States Agency for International Development) The U.S. government’s lead international development agency, funding projects that save lives, reduce poverty, and strengthen democratic governance across the globe. It funded this project through the Community Connector programme.
