Raising Awareness, Reducing Stigma, Providing Life-Saving Services

We take health services directly to the community. This programme organises testing, counselling, and referral for treatment, ensuring vulnerable populations know their status and can access the care they need. From HIV outreach to malaria advocacy, we reduce stigma and save lives through direct, compassionate action.

Programme Objectives:

  • To increase awareness and knowledge of HIV/AIDS and malaria prevention and treatment.

  • To reduce stigma associated with HIV/AIDS through community dialogue and sensitisation.

  • To provide accessible testing, counselling, and referral services for those who test positive.

  • To advocate for increased attention and resources for malaria control.

Active Initiatives:

  • HIV Testing & Counselling Outreach (Ongoing)
    Collaborators: Ngetta Health Centre III, Reproductive Health Uganda, Marie Stopes
    Community-based HIV testing, condom distribution, SRHR services, and referral of positive cases for enrolment on ART.

  • Lango Walk Against Malaria (2025)
    Partners: Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Malaria, MACIS, Ministry of Health
    Organised and coordinated a regional advocacy walk to raise awareness and mobilise community action against malaria.

Completed Projects:

  • HIV Project – Lira District (2017–2018)
    Partner: Global Fund through TASO-KADO
    Targeted out-of-school youth and most-at-risk persons with community dialogues, sensitisation, and HIV testing.
