Climate Adaptation Project With IDRC & IIED (2024–2026) - Noble Youth Foundation, Uganda

Strengthening Institutions for Locally-Led Climate Response

Project Description:

NOYU leads this innovative project to strengthen government institutions responsible for climate change response at local and national levels.

Working alongside our partners, NOYU promotes collaborative knowledge creation, empowering communities in semi-arid regions like the cattle corridors of Lango and Bukedi.

Addressing both extreme weather challenges and high poverty rates, NOYU embraces innovation to foster inclusive generation, sharing, and utilisation of locally-led adaptation knowledge.

Through this project, NOYU also influences resource allocation by engaging with Parliament’s Climate Change Committee.
