Equipping Vulnerable Youth With Hands-On, Employable Skills

Status: Ongoing Since 2018 | Focus Area: Poverty Alleviation

The most direct path out of poverty is a steady, dignified income. This programme targets those most often left behind – child mothers, street children, and youth living with disabilities, providing certified training in trades with proven market demand. We do not just teach; we provide start-up toolkits and mentorship so graduates can launch their own businesses.

Programme Objectives:

  • To equip vulnerable youth with marketable, certified vocational skills.

  • To foster economic independence and reduce reliance on external aid.

  • To restore dignity and hope among youth excluded from formal education.

  • To create a pipeline from vulnerability to self-reliance.

Active Projects:

  • Vocational Training Initiative (Ongoing Since 2018)
    Lead: NOYU Initiative
Empowered over 200 youth with employable skills in tailoring, bakery, shoe making, and hairdressing.
